Three stabbings reported on Big River First Nation: Saskatchewan RCMP

RCMP is investigating three stabbing incidents reported on Big River First Nation in northern Saskatchewan, police announced Saturday.

Police say two people with injuries have been taken to hospital for treatment and two male suspects remain at large.
A news release notes an increased police presence on Big River First Nation as police investigate to determine if the incidents were random. People are asked to avoid the area and follow police direction, said the release, which was issued by RCMP at 10:50 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.

One of the suspects is 29-year-old Ryan Lachance who is described by police as approximately 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a teardrop tattoo under his left eye. Police say he was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a large white logo on it. The release contained no other information about the second suspect.
RCMP say that the last confirmed sighting of the suspects was at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Victoire, Sask., area. They might be driving a black Kia car with Saskatchewan license plate 649 NPP or a grey BMW SUV.
“The suspects are considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached,” said the release. “If you see them, call police immediately by dialing 911 in the case of an emergency, or 310-RCMP in a non-emergency.”
