Raid 2 has brought good news for Bollywood. The film has managed to become one of the highest grossing films of the year so far. Just in 9 days, the movie has managed to leave behind some big-budget films like Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh starring Akshay Kumar, Jaat starring Sunny Deol and others. As per the latest reports, Ajay Devgn‘s Raid 2 has now crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in a span of 9 days.
As reported by Sacnilk.com, Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor’s movie had a good day at the box office on its second Friday. As per the report, the movie made around Rs 5 crore at the box office on day 9. Despite a working day, the movie managed to get decent numbers. The India-Pakistan skirmish has also not impacted the numbers as much. On day 8, Raid 2 had earned Rs 5.25 crore. On day 7, the numbers were approximately Rs 4.75 crore. On day 6, the movie made around Rs 7 crore and on day 5, the movie made around Rs 7.5 crore. These are the weekdays numbers of Raid 2. The first week collection of the film was 95.75 crore. Adding Rs 5 crore to the collection, Raid 2 has now successfully entered the Rs 100 crore club by the end of 9 days. Now the movie is just a few crores away from beating the India Net Collection of Salman Khan’s recently released movie Sikandar.
Raid 2 directed by Ram Kumar Gupta released on May 1. It is produced under Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series banner and Panorama Studios. Apart from Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh is seen in a pivotal role in the film. He is the villain! Raid 2 is the sequel to Raid that had released in 2018. The movie sees Ajay Devgn back as IRS Amay Patnaik. He is the good cop who has taken up the charge to track white-collar crime. The movie received good reviews upon release.
