Of late, Bollywood’s celebrated singer Udit Narayan has been in the news and for all the wrong reasons. Several videos of him kissing female fans went viral on social media calling for a massive backlash. However, Udit Narayan remained unaffected by the controversy. He was among the guests at the success bash of The Roshans. He happily posed for the paps as he attended the party. Now, a video has gone viral that has paps teasing him over the kiss controversy.
In a video that has made its way to Reddit, one can see Udit Narayan posing for the paps as he walked in solo. He is all smiles as cameras go clickety-click. Paparazzi being paparazzi, one from the shutterbugs asks ‘Papa kaise hai’. He sings ‘Papa kehte hai bada naam karega…’ and leaves. As he is about to exit, one from the paps is heard saying, ‘Sir, ek kiss hojaye.’ Udit Narayan walks away without acknowledging it.
On Reddit, many users have reacted to the video and poked fun at the singer, as well as, paps. One of the comments on the video read, “It’s all fun and games till Udit grabs the Pap and fulfils his wish.” Another one wrote, “Typical trad uncle who thinks he’s still got in him!! Delulu with his egoasm!!” Many even brought in India’s Got Latent controversy.

Earlier, in an interview with HT, Udit Narayan had shared his views on the controversy. He said, “Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko? There are so many people in the crowd, and we have bodyguards present too. But fans think they are getting a chance to meet, so someone extends their hands for a handshake, some kiss the hands…yeh sab deewangi hoti hai.” He also shared that he has been in the industry for decades and does not hold an image of someone who would forcefully kiss fans.
