Jeamie Tshikeva and David Adeleye are set to fight on the undercard of Joe Joyce’s bout with Filip Hrgovic, with the duo involved in a fiesty press conference on Thursday
Jeamie Tshikeva caused chaos at a final press conference ahead of his British heavyweight clash with David Adeleye when he flipped a table in anger as the pair exchanged verbal blows.
Tshikeva – known as Jeamie TKV and a gym mate of Anthony Joshua – was pulled away by security after he sent the table in the air. The British challenger blew up as Adeleye was goading him ahead of their showdown at Manchester’s Co-Op Live.
The clash, which is on the undercard of Joe Joyce ’s meeting with Filip Hrgovic, is clearly full of bad blood. They had already caused chaos at Talksport’s studios earlier in the week when the fighters and their teams clashed.
But it went up another level here after almost 10 minutes of verbal bashing ended with Tshikeva flipping the table. Security had to pounce to stop the fighters coming together while the other boxers sat at the table moved for cover as microphones and drinks went flying.

Adeleye remained on stage after the commotion but TKV was pulled away and didn’t return for the face off. Londoner Adeleye was angered by TKV’s outbursts before that.
He said: “I cussed his weight, I cussed his appearance and he’s obviously insecure about it. After Talksport you were all waiting for me outside. You’re punks.”
TKV, who has sparred with two-time champion Joshua, said: “I don’t know where this gangster stuff comes from. You’re taking it personally that I’ve taken this fight? I see a scared man. I know when I see a scared man. You’re scared.
“You just tried to pull up in my face. You tried to flex your muscles in my face. Do you want me to get personal. You didn’t want to take this fight. I had to ring you and make sure you took it.”
Adeleye hit back saying: “You were sucking my bum telling me I was the truth.”
Adeleye then started getting angry and thumping his table and calling himself “The Truth”. They were shouting over each other as promoter Frank Warren and the other fighters watched on.
Then it all went off with TKV lost control and turned the table over in the air sparking security into action.
Adeleye is going for his second crack at the British title which has been held by some of the sport’s greats. Warren said: “I’m hoping the fight is as lively as this was.”
