Arrested Italian reporter planned 'balanced coverage' of Iran, journalist says

Italian journalist Cecilia Sala who was detained by police over a week ago in Iran was planning to do a “balanced coverage” of the country by reporting on the “facts and realities on the ground”, FRANCE 24 Correspondent Saeed Azimi said. Azimi said he met with Sala three days before her arrest in the presence of a translator from an Iranian mediator agency.
