Algeria's expulsion of French officials 'will have consequences', French FM says

France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on Tuesday warned that Paris would respond “with the greatest firmness” to Algeria’s decision to expel 12 French diplomats, threatening to take similar measures if the expulsions were carried out.
